Highly textured monochromatic palette of beige, cream, greens and tans. Heavy impasto texture was applied thick to imply stucco or peeling plaster against an earthy natural surface. Meant to evoke a sense of weathered and distressed architecture.

I always get a little sad when seasons change. Like I didn’t “do enough” in the summer. We didn’t go canoeing, we never made it on a hike. I think we only grilled out once.

This was a good exercise in working large scale, getting proportions just right and not losing my mind over the body angles.

Also- one time- my friends put a life size lemon on their indoor plant and told me it was a lemon tree and I believed them.
